Snuggly Slipper Boots!

Hi all!

Happy Bank holiday to you all, I’ve been cursed with a tummy bug so I’m feeling rather naff!

On the flip side, I’ve got My printer working again thanks to Mr K sorting it out and bringing it back to life! So of course I’ve had a back log of pdf patterns to print off and 1st on my list and a part of my #makenine2018 is Tilly and The Buttons free pattern and tutorial to make your Slipper Boots.

I don’t know about you but I’m a bugger for going through slippers and they are my favourite footwear, if I could I would wear them to work ?

My fleece and jersey was from B and M Fabrics in Leeds and I bought half a metre of each and it worked out just under £7, don’t mind that as it’s sometimes more to buy slippers from the high street!

I already have the cotton wadding, thread and Sock Stop in my stash so no need to be hunting down any extras!

The pdf itself is only 8 pages and I soon pieced and taped it together and got onto cutting out my pieces.

Tilly’s instructions as always are very clear and I whipped these up quickly but I did start them Saturday afternoon and finished Sunday morning as I wasn’t feeling too good so if I had my ‘A’ game on its be a few hours.

To add some grip to these as I do have wooden flooring in my house, I added Sock-stop to my soles and if course I don’t do normal, I drew on hearts lol.

Now this had to dry for a minimum of 12 hours…. nooooo! This was hard as I wanted to wear them straight away!

But here they are and of course I won’t be taking them off at all today!! So what have you been up to this Easter weekend?

Happy sewing!
