The Creative Crafts Show is back!

Wow what an good chunk time it has been since we have been able to get back to meeting people again. The Creative Craft Show, Is returning to Exeter’s Westpoint Arena from Thursday 23rd – Sunday 27th September 2021.

The Creative Craft Show brings the hottest new supplies, latest trends to die hard crafters and newcomers alike in the South West. Visitors to the show can dive in to knitting, sewing, felting, papercraft, calligraphy, stained glass, jewellery making plus update their supplies stash with the latest products and creations from the world of creative craft. There will be tons of Inspiration, ideas and tips from experts are also available with a range of workshops and demonstrations including:

Crafting with Lyndsey

Based in South Devon, Lyndsey delivers craft workshops, retreats and parties across the South West. She has a range of craft kits that are perfect for beginners and experienced alike. Lyndsey joined the Creative Craft Show LIVE community during lockdown early last year to deliver a series of virtual workshops. She will be joining the shows in person in to provide workshops in a range of subjects including macrame, fabric flower making, bargello needlepoint, and finger knitting.

The Modern Calligraphy Company

Aiming to inspire beginners, enthusiasts, and professionals to continue to develop their calligraphy skills and their passion for lettering. The Modern Calligraphy Company is coming to Exeter for the first time for demonstrations, hints, tips and workshops plus the chance to stock up on kits and tools. 

Devon Felters with Wool on the Wire 

A group of non-profit textile artists and tutors who craft designer wearables, interiors, accessories, jewellery, sculptural plus eco printing and patchwork. They will be hosting workshops and demonstrations throughout the show.

Kerrie Padmore – Living in Loveliness

After Kerrie’s successful run of virtual sewing tutorials, via Creative Craft Show Live. It’s time to join her now at a real live event. Kerrie’s passion lies in bringing people together in workshops through their shared joy of sewing. Join her at this show and learn how to make a finished sewn item to take home.  

Tracey Quinn

Tracey of Glass Garden Studios will be demonstrating the art of Stained Glass at the show of cutting, shaping and “leading” glass into creative designs. Offering handy tips visitors may want to know to get started in this traditional craft.

Essential Info

Opening times for the show are;

Thursday to Saturday: 9.30am – 5.00pm. Sunday: 9.30am – 4.00pm.

Free on-site parking at the Westpoint Arena.

Prices for adults £10. But if you use the discount code EPJE at the time of booking, you will save £1 making an adult ticket just £9.

Children under the age of 5 go free.

To ensure visitor safety at the show, aisles will be wider to accommodate social distancing and floor markings and clear signage will be used throughout the show. Those attending workshops can sit at individual tables with pre-packaged craft kits to minimise contact where possible. My personal view

Throughout Covid, I have felt uneasy with socialising and attending places but with The Creative Craft Shows I feel quite happy to attend due to the above procedures they have put in place. If you do have any concerns, then feel free to get in touch with ICHF Events.
